The retail store i checked out was CVS off of fleming rd. in Greensboro. i work at this store so i know a lot about it. This store is at the edge of Greensboro near summerfield and it is the only pharmacy in the area for a good while. our store is one of the busiest CVS's in greensboro due to that lack of competion around the location. there are two entrances and exits. one is at a stop light and one just has a stop sign. it is fairly simple to get in and out of the parking lot and back on the road. it is located on a corner right before you start heading into the very suburban suburbs. we are only open until 10:00pm but dont really need to stay open longer because most of the traffic in that area happens during the day. the disadvantages of the store is that it is lower than the road so it doesnt look as appealing.

After doing the researc, I then took the questionaire. My results to it said that I was an Experiencer. I completley agree with my results. I found the questionarie and results to be very acurate. When I read what the experiencer was, I related to like eveyone of the descriptions. I really like doing new things and being spontaneous, but also have some sort of a pattern or rhytum to my week to week life. My group had the retailer Khols. I guess I might could fall under the target market, but in a way not really. Khols has things for everyone, but from experience Khols has to be timmed right. Sometimes I will find good things in that store and other times its awful. I really dont like a lot of the junior girls apparel, but every once in a while they will have some cute things.

blog 2 (history of favorite retailer)

The retailer I chose to write about as my favorite, was Express. While researching some of the material I found a very interesting fact. Express started out as a more trendy/young looking version of The Limited, and founded in 1981. At first they only sold mens casual clothes and work clothes, and was under the Limited brands division. In 1989 is when Express started really increasing sales and was formed into it's own division and it then became a private retailer. In 2001, Express started to produce and carry women's clothes and denim.
Express started out with one "testing" store in 1980, and now in 2009, have up to 550 stores all over America. The current CEO of Express is Micheal Weiss and he has been CEO since 1981. Currently, Express has been making about 1.8 billion dollars yearly.
Another interesting fact I was sort of surprised with was the "controversy" with the Express employees. A few years back, it was company policy for the men and women employees to only wear Express clothes, and only in the current season to work. Employees get 40% off purchases but some felt like all there money that they aquired working for Express just went back into the company from all the clothes they were having to buy to continue working there. As of now, company policy has changed and allows employees to wear their own clothing from whatever brand they like, as long as they are not being bold or flashy with that brand. They should look nice and stylish when they come to work.

my favorite retailer

My favorite retailer is Express. I think Express has great customer service. They are always friendly, and welcome you to the store. You never wait for a dressing room and they will help you find any size you need.
Their clothes are made with really good quality. I have never purchased anything from there that has ripped, fallen apart, or threading has come loose.
The prices at Express are a little more than I would normally pay somewhere else; but they offer you a credit card, and along with that send you coupons, and recieve special offers. They also always have sales. The sale rack is always full, and they offer good deals. I just recently got 5 very cute shirts for only $32.61 I was very excited!
The main reason I love Express is because of the attractivness of the clothes and their style. They always have really cute patterns they use with different styles of clothing, so it gives you more choices. Not to mention the styles they come out with usually don't fade very quick so you can wear them for a long time.
Another thing I really like at express is the way their clothes fit. They usually catter to a lot of peoples body types. Also their clothes usually don't loose their fit after you have washed them.
